The assistance service in the station is a free service proposed to Persons with disabilities (PLM) and Persons with reduced mobility (PRM), which consists of accompanying the customer from a welcome point in the station (Disabled passenger assistance welcome point) to their seat in the train.
At the destination, the customer is accompanied from their seat in the train to the exit of the station or to their seat in a connecting train or if applicable, to the station’s taxi rank or any other place of their choice inside the station.
As part of the assistance service, you can ask the member of staff to carry a single item of luggage up to a maximum weight of 15kg. No additional weight or number of items can be carried. The weight of the luggage may be checked by the station staff.
The person benefitting from the assistance must be able to certain perform certain basic necessities themselves and must be able to show their tickets. We strongly advise you to book your assistance service as soon as you book your train ticket, and no later than 24 hours before your departure. This will guarantee you will have assistance for your train. Without a reservation, you will be looked after as best as possible.
