Stations as strategic places

Journeys made by train have increased by 40% in the last 15 years. 93% of Île-de-France residents travel every day, 20% of them use public transport. TER traffic will increase fourfold between 2010 and 2030. With such an audience, SNCF Retail & Connexions offers a multitude of communication channels to maximise the audience.

Advertising sales division

Since 2008, the sales division Mediagares (GIE Mediatransports) has exclusively marketed advertising space at stations and on platforms. Present at 837 stations with around 20,000 advertising faces in total, Médiagares is able to give advertisers excellent exposure in France. A national campaign at stations reaches nearly 8 million people in 7 days.

Pop-ups: a laboratory of ideas

The public space, whether inside or outside the station, is ideally suited to pop-ups. These activities on short-term contracts are a chance to test new concepts at stations while responding to consumers’ desire for novelty.
