Bluetooth beacons at stations
A simple guidance system, using Bluetooth, is available in multiple languages via the ‘Ma Gare SNCF’ app. This also makes it much easier to find trains, services, shops and places to eat. The journeys and itineraries suggested are adapted according to flows and unforeseen circumstances as well as each person’s individual needs, such as reduced mobility.
Constantly improving accessibility
New solutions and apps are being tested to supplement the current offer of support services: audio assistance (audio tags, etc.), connected objects (vibrating wristbands, headsets, etc.) and visual aid (augmented reality guidance solution).
Stations as key locations in towns
With one gesture, it is possible to find all the nearby modes of transport via an app and book a bicycle, electric scooter or car-sharing vehicle in one click. Algorithms also help you to quickly find a taxi when you exit the station (Smart Taxi).
A greener and more sustainable station
Technology and innovation mean that energy consumption and carbon footprint can be better managed. Temperature, lighting and occupation of spaces are considered for optimal management (Smart Building). Materials are recycled and reused, and the shops’ delivery boxes are replaced by reusable bags.
