Aix-en-Provence TGV station is a shop window of SNCF Gares & Connexions’ latest technological innovations. Renamed ‘Aixploration’, it presents the station of tomorrow with a dual objective: making passengers’ lives easier and improving the station performance. All the experiments are tested there from the station’s energy consumption meter in real time to the mobile app for 3D guidance or the Vehicle to Grid concept that uses the battery capacities of electric cars to make the site energy autonomous.
