Starting April 14, 2025, major modernization works will begin at Gare de l’Est.
During this period, our services located on Level -1 will remain open and accessible via stairs and escalators.
Please note that the public elevator in the center of the station will not be in service during this time.

To access PRM toilets in the station

Opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 6 a.m. to midnight
Weekends and public holidays: 7 a.m. to midnight
Customers wishing to access PRM toilets are invited to go to the Assistance for Disabled Travellers (AVH) desk, located at the Alsace entrance, near platforms 4 and 5.
Staff will provide free access to the Grand Voyageur Lounge, located opposite the AVH, or offer an alternative solution if the lounge is closed (from 9 p.m. to midnight).
To drop off items at the lockers
Customers wishing to access the station lockers without assistance are invited to go to the Concierge Service at Gare du Nord.
How to get there?
- Take the Alsace exit (near the AVH desk) and turn right.
- Walk past the escalators on the right-hand side and take the elevator.
- This will lead you to the upper part of Rue d’Alsace. Once outside, turn right.
- After a few meters, turn left onto Rue de Dunkerque.
- Gare du Nord is located on the avenue across the street, just after crossing the two pedestrian crossings
