Which wheelchairs are authorised on board the trains?

The wheelchairs authorised on-board the trains must comply with the standards in the European regulations (STI 2023):  

• Wheelchairs must not be more than 70cm wide, 120cm long and 145cm high.  
• The wheelchair must have a maximum turning radius of 150cm.  
• The weight of the wheelchair and its occupant (including any luggage) must not exceed: 300kg for an electric wheelchair if no equipment to get on/off the train is required, or 200kg for a manual wheelchair.  

If the customer fails to respect the above conditions, the assistance service will be refused. These conditions also apply to people with disability scooters and persons with reduced mobility.
